Voice Box - Claudia Molitor
I have recently had the pleasure of working with composer Claudia Molitor on her project Voice Box.
"The Voice Box's growing collection of scores and sounds explores the process of notating and performing.
In these works, a short musical idea is continually rewritten under conditions of stress which introduce 'errors' to its transcription. Uncontrolled markings enter the score, setting the unintentional alongside the intentional.
The initial musical idea ('master score') of the voice box is performed again and again by voice artists who chose their particular way of interrupting their interpretation of the score."

The Centre for Recent Drawing presents: Z4RD Volume 1: Drawings to Murder Magic
For the first Z4RD Drawings to Murder Magic, contributors were asked to respond to the work of Antonin Artaud, and his approach to drawing and the metaphysics of the creative gesture; contributors are particularly asked to respond to the volume, Fifty Drawings to Murder Magic which has been recently made available in English by Seagull Press, translated by Donald Nicholson-Smith. Z4RD features original artwork by Adam de la Cour and Pauline Delacour.
